Staffbase supports Workday user management integration with Staffbase Studio for automatically syncing users to your Staffbase. This integration streamlines user management, keeping data accurate and up to date across Workday and the Staffbase platform.

  • Automatic regular updates: Keep your user information accurate and current with seamless syncs daily.
  • Greater flexibility:
    • Leverage imported user attributes to create mappings and then use user groups for targeted communication.
    • Configure multiple integrations to connect multiple Workday instances to the Staffbase platform.

The integration consists of two main steps:

  1. Preparing for integration in Workday
  2. Connecting Workday with Staffbase Studio

This initial setup is required to sync contacts. Follow these steps in Workday:

  1. Create an integration system user (ISU)
  2. Add the ISU as a system user
  3. Create a security group
  4. Configure domain security policies
  5. Activate pending security changes
  6. Create and configure a custom report
  7. Share the report
  8. Copy the report URL
  9. Transfer the ownership of the report

This process sets up the connection between Workday and the Staffbase Studio, and once set up, it runs automatically in a 24-hour cycle. To establish a connection with the Studio for the user management, refer to Configure Workday integration in Staffbase Studio for User Management.
